Melissa Ferguson graduated from Southeastern Oklahoma State University with her B.S. in elementary education in May 1995, and her Master’s degree in School Leadership in July 2011.

Melissa has been married to her husband, Robert, for 31 years.  They have three grown sons who are all happily married and have children of their own.  They are also the proud grandparents of five sweet grandbabies, Gunner (6), Daniel (3), Cora Lee (7 months), Keon (5 months), and Eli (4 months).  Daniel and Eli both live in the Coleman district and will be Wildcats very soon!

When Melissa is not at school, you will find her visiting her grandbabies, and traveling with her husband.  Last year, she officially visited the last of the 50 states with a 30^th anniversary trip to Hawaii.  She has been to several countries including China, France, Italy, Germany, Mexico, Canada, Jamaica, Cayman Islands, and the Bahamas.
